TV9 Network has a history of chronicling and celebrating inspirational leadership across various business domains and now we are happy to extend our Leadership Recognition Series to the Healthcare Sector.
When the world was reeling under Covid-induced slowdown in 2020, TV9 Network showcased the grit and resilience displayed by some homegrown entrepreneurs to inspire budding businesses.
In 2021, we followed up with the Dare2Dream Awards, felicitating over 150 entrepreneurs in eight first-of-its-kind virtual events.
And this year we turned our focus on the Leaders of Road Transport sector. Over 50 transporters, bus operators and car rental companies were felicitated.
As the country celebrates the 75th year of its independence, we at TV9 Network announce Leaders of Healthcare Awards to recognise and acknowledge institutions and individuals for successfully ensuring affordable, universal healthcare and offering unmatched services to people in need.
As India settles back into the pre-pandemic normal with healthcare mainstreamed as a priority sector and the country emerging as the Pharmacy of the World, this is TV9 Network’s endeavour to bringtogether important stakeholders from the sector to discuss the way forward.
With its pan-India presence, TV9 Network has a deep connect with doctors and healthcare professionals across the country. When India was recovering from the second wave of Covid, TV9 Network launched Mission Health on Doctors’ Day on July 1,2021 to help India heal - TV9 Network MD & CEO Barun Das, along with top doctors, launched the initiative.
Next was the National Doctors’ Day Conclave – a Summit featuring India’s top doctors. The Doctorpreneurs’ series followed, along with the #HaathSafeRakho, an awareness campaign across 11 cities on importance of hand hygiene.
As part of our Social Cause Initiative in the #FightAgainstCorona, with the Suraksha Bandhan and Highway Heroes campaigns, more than 17000 truck drivers and their families were vaccinated in partnership with Gulf Oil, STFC and Apollo Hospitals
The Network plans to recognise and celebrate healthcare leaders, both at the institutional and the individual level. This will showcase all round excellence that helped India navigate Coivid induced tough times.
Celebrating the success of hospitals and the medical fraternity, ‘Leaders of Healthcare Awards’ look at recognizing healthcare leaders who had the resilience to serve through the pandemic, despite grave danger to their own lives and that of their families.
Leaders who have successfully steered their organisations to contribute to the Covid response in their particular area of service, through innovation, digital transformation, new development strategies and technology deployment and of course sheer grit and determination. Most importantly, it is about featuring individuals who envisioned a new healthy road map for India.
The Network will recognise institutions which have established India as a leading country in healthcare delivery and innovation.
It will celebrate healthcare leaders who are successfully ensuring affordable, universal healthcare and unmatched services to people in need.
The interplay between the individual and the institution is paramount to sustain the edge India has achieved in the healthcare space globally.
